About a portraitThe pretty girl is represented in russian scarf, the open and straight look though a little bit thoughtful, and proud bearing emphasizes her purposeful character. Olya`s portrait fixes one of conducting directions in creativity of the artist: a little idealized image of the person with simultaneous transfer of those character traits of the person, which in the opinion of the artist, are more peculiar.
The most numerous and charming piece of Victor Deryugin`s gallery are female portraits and children's portraits , portraits of friends and relatives marked by simplicity and sincere, bright in colors, sometimes unexpected in compositions, almost always giving to the spectator the moment of deep emotional dialogue with the represented person. These portraits are written by the artist vividly, impulsive – to write a portrait of the relative in case of first need, the portrait of close and loved person. V.Deryugin appeals to the female image, realizing it in portraits, delicate in transfering moods and feelings. Illumination, color dominant, manner of the letter vary; in the interpretation of the model not a jot the artist recede from the high artistic reality. Uncommon pictorial advantages have portraits of the wife, a number of female portraits and many others. His works of art the artist creates without preliminary sketches and preliminary etudes. Only monumental paintings and composite products of art the artist makes etudes in paints. Many portraits arise in two - three sessions, their tones are pure, alive, easy.
However to achieve such feeling of lightness and artistry isn’t possible without constant studying nature with a pencil or a brush in hands. In a small thick folder - pencil portraits of the wife, sister, daughter and sketches of those faces the artist got interested in. These sketches, as well as all Victor Deryugin`s works of art speak about the cognition method of the reality which infers in loyalty to the nature - not as primitive sum of subjects and the phenomenons, but as to the living source and a sacred piece of any real art. |
